Crab Fettucine Recipe

Love Fettuccine? Why not combine it with seafood? Introducing Crab Fettuccine, a luxurious and flavorful dish. The rich, creamy sauce complements the delicate crab meat, and the fettuccine is the perfect base for this elegant pasta. It is ideal for quick meals as well as special occasions. Here’s a simple crab fettuccine recipe for four people-

.
What you need
● 1 lb fettuccine
● 1/2 lb lump crab meat
● 1/2 cup heavy cream
● 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
● 2 cloves garlic, minced
● 1/4 cup butter, unsalted
● 1/4 cup dry white wine

How to prepare

1. Boil water in a large pot. Add in salt and fettuccine, and prepare according to package directions.

2. Cook until al dente. When draining, set aside half a cup of pasta water.

3. While the pasta is boiling, place a large skillet over medium

heat on another stove to melt the unsalted butter. Once melted,

mix in the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.

4. Use the dry white wine to deglaze the skillet, scraping up any browned bits..

5. Grate the Parmesan cheese. Mix in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese to the garlic butter paste. You may add red chili flakes if you want some spice. Bring to a simmer and cook for two to three minutes until it thickens slightly.

6. Gently stir in the crab meat, ensuring it heats through without overcooking. Season with salt and pepper.

7. Mix the cooked fettuccine with the sauce until coated evenly. If you feel that sauce is too thick, use a splash of reserved pasta water to loosen it up.

8. Finally, garnish the pasta with fresh parsley and serve!
Crab fettuccine is best enjoyed fresh, but you can store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days. Happy cooking!
