Caribbean Luxury Second to None
Adrenaline-Pumping Activities On the Sheltered Island
Many first-time visitors to the little island of Aruba think that they are outside the Caribbean. With rugged coasts, cacti groves, and sand dunes, Aruba has little in common with its neighboring islands. But this is what Aruba is all about.
Aruba is only a five-hour flight away from the East Coast, and since the island is sheltered from the main Atlantic Hurricane Belt, you can ideally visit the whole year round. Aruba is especially known for its cultural diversity, and the list of things to there is endless.
The Eagle Beach is best for snorkeling, kayaking, or dune buggy. The deep blue waters are calm and the sand is talcum white. Stretching for miles on end, Eagle Beach is rarely overcrowded. The nearby Divi offers you cuisine and cocktail joints one after another. Aruba is one of the most diverse islands in the Caribbean because of the presence of various cultures.
For a romantic dining experience, Pinchos is the place to be. The restaurant is a cabana built above the water, offering breathtaking views of the ocean as you munch on tuna, fish cakes, and grilled shrimps.
If you are feeling lucky, you can go out gambling at the Stellaris Casino in the Marriot Resort on Palm Beach. Stellaris gives you the quintessential gambling experience that is comparable to that of Vegas!
History buffs will get a kick out of Bushiribana and Balashi Ruins . These are haunting remains of constructions in the late 19th century, when the British came here in search of gold. You will also get to see the fortified constructions that were built to keep away pirates!
Finally, wildlife lovers can hike in the Arikok National Park, which accounts for 20% of all the land on Aruba. Pretty fascinating, isn’t it?
