Brit & Chips was created almost 10 years ago to catch the best parts of a conventional British “Chippy” cuisine . The menu was designed by a group of locals who are specialists in English cooking.

The restaurant serves several areas in Montreal and offers the customary English supper with cod, haddock, and salmon in an ale and maple Syrup batter, or Murphy’s Stout batter — delicious!

Thanks to this eatery, Brits in Canada don’t have to cross the lake to have battered fish and heavenly chips; they can do so here in Old Montréal.

When it comes to the menu, the cod is a staple while the salmon dunked-in Guinness batter is also a top choice. For a Canadian touch, check out the haddock covered in golden maple syrup batter. And top it all off with the Deep-Fried Chocolate Bar.
