Coronado Island

Coronado Island is a popular tourist destination for those visiting California and the San Diego area. From the US Naval Station to the spectacular views of the San Diego skyline, it is home to some of the best beaches in the U.S. If you are driving, you can get to Coronado Island by taking the Coronado Bay bridge. This bridge is very tall as it is designed to allow the military ships to pass under it. There are also ferries that depart from the San Diego waterfront.

Coronado Beach
Coronado Beach is one of the best beaches in the country. It is a family friendly beach that is flat and clean. It also has a paved path along the bold beach for those that prefer to keep the sand out of their shoes.

Hotel del Coronado
:
Hotel del Coronad is a Victorian style seaside hotel that opened in 1888. It hosted some famous celebrities including Marilyn Monroe. Rumored to have a ghost, today the Hotel del Coronado is a great place to eat or browse through the photography exhibits.

Bluewater Boathouse Seafood Grill
The Bluewater Boathouse Sunset Grill offers a waterfront dining experience. It has a dog friendly patio and boat docking and severs classic seafood dishes

Leroy’s Kitchen
Leroy’s is a unique dining experience that promotes farm to table dining, and is known for its eclectic menu that highlights the island inspired seafood. They also offer sushi and festive drinks with great views of the harbor.
