The best sport to surf or even to watch these big waves is a placeknown as Praia do Norte, especially in the winter season. If you’re not a surfer yourself, you can come to watch expert surfers taking on mother nature, all in hopes of setting the next world record
Another popular spot is Praia da Vila, which is a beach park with left and right waves and a sandy bottom. The waves here are powerful, and quite fast as well. So this isn’t the place for beginner surfers. There are several restaurants and cafes along the beach for tourists.
Finally, you have the Praia do Sul beach. Also known as spritzer windows these poor Indonaza, this beach is located right next to the Nazare Harbor. All in all, surfing in Nazare is an unforgettable experience.
