Food Times on Maui

Where to eat on Maui Island, Hawaii

When you’re visiting Maui Island, you should bring with you a pack of good appetite. It is not just charming beaches and untouched forests that draw tourists in Maui. Its food scene is distinct among the Hawaiian Islands – here you are served with sweet, tasty and everything in-between cuisines. Creative chefs use locally grown ingredients which are grown on the island’s fertile and rich volcanic soils. Here are some of the island’s esteemed diners which offer the best tasting food:

South Maui Fish Company

When you’re here in this restaurant, try their famous curried fish plate with pineapple coleslaw. At South Maui, it’s all about fresh food and fresh ingredients. They also serve Poke, a salad made of raw fish and is usually served as a cuisine appetizer. All of their fish is caught on the day you eat it and they will never serve frozen fish. Locals in Maui regard that this restaurant is not just a one-off experience to try but also a place where individuals come back more than just once.
