Legal Seafoods – Anywhere By Mail-Order
If it isn’t fresh, it isn’t Legal!
Recently, I wrote about my experiences with Legal Seafoods. I have dined out at Legal Seafoods in both Chestnut Hill and Burlington, Massachusetts a number of times. Every single time the food and experience was exemplary. That is not what this post is about.
I decided to put my money where my mouth is in place a mail-order order. My order was for 4 quarts of Rhode Island Clam Chowder. Here is how things went:
Wednesday, July 17, I placed my order. Immediately, I received confirmation by email and a Federal Express Second Day Tracking Number.
Thursday, July 18, I received a postal letter from Legal Seafoods thanking me for my order. Along with that thank you letter came a $10 off coupon for a visit to any of their restaurants.
Friday, July 19, my Rhode Island Clam Chowder was received promptly at noon. The box was packed by experts. Lots of dry ice was used to ensure freshness.
Saturday, July 20, my wife and I consumed the first quart. As expected, it was delicious. They will be used again and again.
My only complaint was the shipping charge. It was bigger than I thought that it would be. Well, food being shipped during the summer, the very hot summer is delivered fresh at a premium. Looking back, I can honestly say that I have no issue.
Try Legal Seafoods for yourself. You will not be let down. They are a well oiled and professional company. Your satisfaction and return business is their goal. They will be getting mine.
