Directions:

  1. Get your hands on a pound and a half of pre-cooked lobster meat.
  2. For the pasta, you will need a 1-pound pack of elbow macaroni.
  3. Grab a large pot, fill it up with water and add Kosher salt. Adjust quantity of salt according to your own preference for taste.
  4. Heat the water to boiling point. At the same time, preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  5. When water is boiling, get some vegetable oil and drizzle a small amount on the boiling water.
  6. Open up your elbow macaroni, and add to the boiling water. Wait until the macaroni has softened enough to be consumed. Refer to the package insert for the number of mintes to heat the macaroni.
  7. Drain the water and set macaroni aside.
  8. Pour 1 quart of milk to a large saucepan, and heat just below boiling point.
  9. Simultaneously, take the large pot and melt 6 tablespoons of unsalted butter. Pour in the flour aftermelting butter, and cook and whisk for 2 minutes.
  10. Take your hot milk and add to the flour and butter mixture in the pot. Cook and whisk for 2 more minutes.
  11. Turn off the heat.
  12. Take 12 ounces of Gruyere cheese, 8 ounces of grated Cheddar cheese, a half teaspoon each of freshly ground black pepper and nutmeg, and 1 tablespoon of salt.
  13. Mix the above ingredients together with the flour, butter, and hot milk in the pan. Turn on the heat and cook.
  14. Take your half pound of cooked lobster meat, and the macaroni. Add them to the mixture.
  15. When evenly mixed and cooked, take your gratin dishes.
  16. Transfer mixture to the gratin dishes
  17. Prepare a cup and a half of white bread crumbs. Make sure not to include the crust.
  18. Melt another 2 tablespoons of butter on the large pot. Add the bread crumbs.
  19. Drizzle the top of each mac and cheese mixture in the gratin dishes with the butter and bread crumbs.
  20. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
  21. Take out of oven and serve.
