More than 350 years old, Sandwich, MA remains Cape Cod’s most seasoned town. It was named for the seaport of Sandwich, Kent, England by pilgrims from Saugus in the early 17th century. The town stretches 44.2 square miles in the Upper Cape territory, covering the Cape Cod Bay to the Cape Cod Canal.
