Luxurious Crab cakes that are crisp on the outside and soft inside are truly divine in taste. Here is a delicious crab cake recipe which you can easily prepare with least fuss. Once you try this, you would surely love to make it again and again and serve to your loved ones.

Ingredients

  • Sour cream – 2 tablespoons
  • Lightly beaten egg – 1
  • Fresh breadcrumbs – 1 cup
  • Lemon juice – 2 tablespoons
  • Seafood seasoning – 1-1/4 teaspoons
  • Freshly ground black pepper – 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fresh lump crabmeat – 1 pound
  • Butter – 1 tablespoon
  • Olive oil – 2 Tablespoons

Preparation

  1. Mix together sour cream, egg, breadcrumbs, lemon juice, seafood seasoning and black pepper in a large bowl. Add crab meat to the mixture. Fold the meat evenly and make 4 small patties. Refrigerate the patties for about an hour so that they become a little stiff
  2. Heat a large skillet in a medium flame and add the butter to it. Once the butter melts add oil to it. Put the crab patties in the skillet and cook for about 5 to 7 minutes on both sides. The patties should turn golden brown in color.
  3. Once the cake is cooked, serve it with buns. Take a serving plate and place a toasted bun on it. Spread 2 tablespoon of mayonnaise on the bun and place a lettuce leaf and a piece of tomato on it. Keep the cooked crab cake over it and top it with another piece of toasted bun.
