The Myrtle Beach is a resort city, located on South Carolina’s coast. It is also called the hub of the Grand Strand, which is basically 60 long miles of amazing beaches. It has become a popular tourist destination because of its beautiful beach views, its serene atmosphere, and the warm weather.
Every year, hundreds of thousands of tourists pack their bags and head over to Myrtle Beach for an exciting and memorable vacation. The city has an amazing range of entertainment options, historic places, golf courses, hotels, diners, and nightlife.
At the Myrtle Beach, you can start off by exploring the vast beach, relaxing on the sand and taking in the breeze. You can also enjoy deep sea fishing on a boat, if you are a fishing enthusiast, or ride a jet ski. You can also join other tourists in parasailing.
You should check out Brookgreen Gardens to see the gardens preserved by the locals since 1931, and also over 1,400 statues by famous sculptors. Other popular historical places include the Atalaya Castle and the Pavilion Nostalgia Park. You can also splash around in the Splashes Oceanfront Water Park, or experience the thrill at Wild Water and Wheels, which has exciting rides and slides.
Myrtle Beach is home to some of the best seafood in all of South Carolina. They have restaurants beach bars, which serve all types of seafood. Be sure to check out Thoroughbreds Restaurant on North Kings Highway, and the Wok Express on South Kings Highway. There are many other excellent restaurants, such as Angus Steakhouse and Seafood, where you can enjoy freshly-caught seafood cooked in the most wonderful recipes.
The possibilities of entertainment, and fine dining, are endless at the Myrtle Beach. It is the perfect tourist spot for families, friends, and lone travelers as well.
