Owenego Inn and Beach Club is one of the popular spots in Branford CT for vacationers, beach lovers, and tennis enthusiasts. The club is also one of the most popular places in town to have an elegant beach-front wedding.

Part of the charm of Owenego is its spectacular views of Long Island Sound. Inside the venue, you can get a sense of the history of New England.

The Inn has its own restaurant by the name of Hungry Dog Café. Monday night is lobster night, so be sure to try out the seafood special. For drinks, you can head to the Thirsty Gull and the Main Cocktail Lounge.

Owenego also has its own beach and tennis club. You can lounge by the waters, or engage is series of water-based activities. The three clay tennis courts also have professional instructors if you are serious about your game.

But that’s not all! The club is home to Cinderella, one of the best wedding sites in Branford.

The Club and Inn goes back a long way. The name of the venue is taken from a warrior Montowese tribal chief, and has been serving guests since the 1800s. At that time, Branford was bustling with resorts. Almost two centuries later, only Owenego continues to operate in full swing.

For accommodation, there are six rooms on the second floor, just above the dining area. There’s also a shared bathroom. The hallway is lined with beautiful paintings complementing the theme of the Owenego Club and Inn.
