Manuel Claudio opened the doors to Claudio’s Tavern in 1870 and has been family owned and operated ever since. It is the oldest, same family run restaurant in the country with 146 years of operation under their belt. The building is a historic landmark and has some of the best traditional seafood dishes in town. They also cater private events, and have soups by the quart to enjoy at home.
