 The distance from the MOZ airport to the Sofitel resort is only one mile and three miles to travel to the Moorea ferry station. For anyone who is unfamiliar with the area, above are google images showing where the property is located on the stunning island of Moorea.

Although the Sofitel Moorea’s lobby is tiny, there is plenty of seating for visitors. Coffee and water are offered all day in a part of the lobby that is fenced off and exclusively accessible to Accor members. The check-in agents lead guests to this relaxing area upon arrival to unwind and enjoy the scenery.

The resort has 113 luxurious bungalows that are built on the beach, over the water, or in the middle of landscaped gardens. The buildings are classified as either Luxury Horizon Overwater or Garden bungalows.

As you relax on the lobby couch, you will get checked in with a tiare lei and a pineapple drink served as a welcome. One thing about the Sofitel’s    lei is that it is very fragrant compared to other Pacific Island resorts.
