See Branford Point

I have lived in Branford, Connecticut for 23 years. Every one of them has been better than the previous. I am being totally serious. Like all towns, it seems like Branford is getting smaller. Between progress and building homes, that is the way it goes. One thing that has not changed for me is Branford Point. An absolutely beautiful spot on the ocean. Personally, I hope that no one visits and leaves the morning tranquility on the shore to my wife and I.

I do not want to sound like a used car salesman, but Branford Point really does have it all. I wrote previously about Gulf Beach in Milford, Connecticut. I have a lot of terrific childhood memories about that beach. It is truly wonderful, but Branford Point is that much better. Why?

• Parking Area
• Playground for kids
• Restrooms/Changing Area
• Shady/Grassy area with picnic tables and barbecues
• Wonderfully tended to, Sandy Beach
• Very tall seawall which allows for an amazing view.
• Everything else that I wrote about Gulf Beach is incredibly similar.
• Rocky sites to see
• At the mouth of the harbor
• go to an online Marsh Area across the harbor
• seconds from Food and Shopping

I live just three minutes away. So, the massive waterfront property taxes do not apply to me.

I hope the pictures of Branford Point that I placed on this post do it some justice. It is a beautiful, well groomed place.
