The Nordic Lodge

A Seafood Lover’s Paradise

A Viking Feast For Everyone

A trip to Charlestown in Rhode Island will never be complete without a visit to Nordic LodgeYELP, a grand seafood buffet located in E. Pasquiset Trail. At Nordic Lodge, you can enjoy an unlimited fill of seafood like crabs, scallops, shrimps and other mouthwatering dishes like steaks, scrumptious appetizers, desserts and so much more.

But what makes Nordic Lodge so famous is because they offer their guests with eat-all-you-can lobsters. Yes, you read it right. It’s eat-all-you can lobsters.

Visitors of Nordic Lodge chow down approximately 4000 lbs. of lobsters every opening day. For busy weekends, hungry guests can finish up to 10000 lbs. of lobsters! One might think and wonder how this restaurant keeps up with the demand. The answer lies in the waters surrounding the area.

Most of America’s lobsters are harvested from Rhode Island, Maine and Massachusetts. These coastal areas facing the Atlantic Ocean is a seafood lover’s paradise. No wonder Nordic Lodge has a wealth of sources for their eat-all-you-can lobster buffet. Sourced fresh from nearby seafood markets in Charlestown, the restaurant generously offers this Viking feast to visitors hungry for a lobster fix.

But if you want to experience lobster harvesting for yourself, Charlestown is definitely the place to go. Freediving for lobsters in the waters surrounding the area is such a thrill to experience. Just make sure you get your appropriate license to go diving for lobsters. Though this maybe an exciting activity to do, there is a limit to how much you can catch per day. So if you want an unlimited fix of lobsters, you can head over to Nordic Lodge.

Nordic Lodge packs in a lot of visitors every year because they are open for only 3 days a week from April to December. That’s the perfect time to enjoy the fresh catch in the area. So the next time you take a trip to Charlestown, make you sure to include Nordic Lodge in your itinerary.
