Yesterday was the second day of spring and it was snowing. Pretty miserable. So, to make me feel better, I remembered a great August day I had when I was in college. We just woke up one Sunday morning and decided, for no good reason to drive out to Misquamicut State Park in Rhode Island. Great beach.

The day was perfect. Nothing but sunshine, body surfing waves and a snack bar right on the beach. The combination of swimming, the beach air, clam cakes, ice cold Narragansett Beer and a really good time made it a perfect day. That was over 30 years ago and I can still remember it clearly. Hopefully, you have lots of days in your life

Miserable winter weather is a way to reset your self for the coming summer. (Try telling yourself that when you have to shovel snow)
