Flex is a seafood import place from Prince Edward Island. The menu features 20 varieties, ranging from $16-20, for a huge steamy pot. Each variation is a clever combination of flavors named for and taken from regions and cultures around the world.

For instance, the Southern comes in a broth with bourbon, roasted corn, and country ham. Likewise, the Geisha Girl has both sake and pickled ginger. And the Spaniard sits in a pool of spicy chorizo and Spanish olives. It’s a unique concept.

Popular dishes include Oysters, Mussels & Fries and Parmesan Truffle Fries.

It’s an enthusiastic place and there is something incredibly fulfilling about delving into a pot of mussels and a good container of broth. We’ll make more trips when they finish that Second Avenue train station.
